The Lapsed Comedian

Robbie Moore first performed stand-up comedy in Brisbane in Feb. 2000. He progressed to the National final of Triple J’s Raw Comedy in 2002. In 2003, he moved to Melbourne, where despite a few gigs…after a few crossroads moments the dream faded.

Moving to the Northern Rivers of NSW renewed the desire to get back on stage…a few good open mic spots…then COVID.

The Lapsed Comedian is a story of a year in the life of an open mic-comedian starting again after several false starts. Stay to the end to see if it’s worth the effort.
